Culture protocolos for endangered and threatened plant species of Atlantic coastal dunes

Resumen: Informe correspondiente a la acción preparatoria A2 en la que se muestran los resultados obtenidos en los diferentes ensayos de cultivo realizados para alguna de las especies dunares del proyecto.
Summary: Deliverable associated to the preparatory action A2. Culture protocolos from different essays performed in the Atlantic Botanic Garden, Gijón and the Fraisoro nursery, Gipuzkoa are discussed. Response to different culture conditions were analyzed for several dune species that will be used in the upcoming conservation actions.

Result 3.1 Evolutionary assesment and geomorphologic characterization of the coastal dunes in the Cantabrian coast

Resumen: Informe correspondiente a la acción preparatoria 3 en la que se analiza la evolución del frente dunar de los sistemas dunares del proyecto desde los años 50 a la actualidad. Se realiza también un análisis geomorfológico de todos los sistemas.
Summary: Deliverable 3 where the evolution of the front of the dune is analyzed, covering a period comprising the 50’s to nowadays. A geomorphological review of all sites of the project is also provided.

Result 3.3 Monitoring of the sand movement in the embryonic dunes

Resumen: Informe correspondiente a la acción preparatoria 3 en la que se analizan los resultados del ensayo de monitorización de entrada de arena en las dunas embrionarias de los sitios ubicados en el Principado de Asturias. Se explica la metodología utilizada y los resultados obtenidos.
Summary: This report explains the methodology followed to asses the movement of sand in the embryonic dunes of the 3 selected sites located in the Principality of Asturias. Both methodology and outcomes are discussed.

Final Seminar 28/05/2019 hosted in San Sebastian, Gipuzkoa, Spain

During this workshop the Life+ARCOS parters also showed up the final results achieved. We’ll make them accesible in the following days.
